CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
For many projects you may need to employ a Contract Administrator to oversee the contract during the works.
The type of works often dictates the type of contract used, which will then require a Contract Administrator to be appointed. I have carried out this role on numerous projects using JCT contracts, including a £1.8 million knock-down rebuild project and a London Town House which included a basement dig.
This will include:
Site meetings and minutes
Progress checks
Technical input as and where required
Valuations and payment certificates
Contract variations
Extension of time certificates
Snagging
Completion certificate
